Agostina Tarchini
Born in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, Agostina Tarchini is a professional dancer and choreographer whose work combines artistic excellence, stage presence, creativity, and a profound connection with Argentine culture.
She also holds a degree in Psychology, graduating with honors from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina.

- 2015 — Colombia: Runner-up at the TangoVía Feria de Manizales Festival.
- 2016 — Türkiye: Named Best Female Dancer at the CIOFF Büyükçekmece Festival.
- 2016 — Poland: Named Miss Festival during the CIOFF Interfolk Festival in Kołobrzeg.
- 2017 — Argentina: World Stage Tango Champion.
- 2018 — Venezuela: Recipient of the Diomedes Tunez Award for her contribution to cultural identity.

Based in Barcelona, Agostina performs and teaches internationally, presenting workshops, shows, and artistic projects across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

- 2017 — Buenos Aires: Dancer in the opera Mahagonny at the prestigious Teatro Colón, directed by Marcelo Lombardero.
- 2021 — Barcelona: Director, producer, and choreographer of the tango production Un Viaje de Ida.
- 2022 — Madrid: Semi-finalist on Got Talent with her artistic project Tangofemme.
- 2023 — Seville: Performer at the Latin Grammy Awards alongside Shakira and Bizarrap.
- 2024 — Tarbes: Assistant choreographer for La Bombonera, directed by musician and composer Aleksandar Nikolic.
- 2026 — Düsseldorf: Choreographer, performer, and dancer in the opera María de Buenos Aires, directed by Johannes Erath, under the musical direction of Mariano Chiacchiarini.
Mariano Messad
Mariano Messad is an Argentine dancer, teacher, and choreographer specializing in Latin American folk dances and tango. Born in Santiago del Estero, he has developed an artistic career spanning more than 30 years.
His work combines extensive research into cultural roots with a strong stage presence and a committed pedagogical approach.
Training and experience
Mariano holds a University Degree in Dance from the Provincial University of Córdoba and is an instructor in Argentine and Latin American folk dances.
Throughout his career, he has studied with renowned teachers from Argentina and Latin America in folklore, tango, malambo, and the traditional dances of the continent.
International career
As a performer and creator, Mariano has taken part in major national and international productions, festivals, and artistic tours throughout the Americas and Europe.
He has represented Argentina in Italy, Germany, Türkiye, Mexico, Brazil, Croatia, Poland, Chile, Colombia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Spain, Portugal, and other countries.
He is currently part of the production of María de Buenos Aires in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Choreographic work
- Choreographic Assistant Director for the official delegation of Santiago del Estero at the 2019 National Folklore Festival of Cosquín.
- Choreographic assistant for the Santiago del Estero delegation in previous editions of the Cosquín Festival.
- Member of the Santiago del Estero Latin American Folkloric Ballet, BA.FO.L.SE, since 2002.
Teaching
Mariano has taught workshops and seminars in Argentine folklore, tango, and Latin American dances at academies, universities, and cultural institutions in Argentina and Europe.
His dynamic teaching method combines technique, musicality, interpretation, cultural knowledge, and exchange between traditions.
Through his stage and educational work, he seeks to convey the depth, strength, and sensitivity of Argentine popular dances, creating experiences that connect tradition with contemporary artistic expression.
